Work With AIDPH on Your Veteran Oral Health Issue

Across the US, many organizations are working to improve veteran access to dental care and oral health resources. These efforts often face common challenges: navigating fragmented systems of care, interpreting complex data, designing effective programs, and translating research into policy and practice. To help organizations with complex problems formulate nuanced solutions, the American Institute on Disparities in Public Health (AIDPH) has created the Veteran Oral Health Strategy Lab. The VOH Strategy Lab uses AIDPH’s experience and expertise to support partners working at the local, state, and national levels by providing tailored guidance to programs that serve veterans.

Looking for More Resources?

You may find solutions in our Veteran Oral Health Virtual Road Tour Report, which provides an overview of challenges, solutions, and policy successes within each state we’ve visited. This report is intended to highlight the outcomes of these tour stops by providing a brief overview of insights and activation points that states may choose to replicate as they identify opportunities to improve veteran oral health. This summary document will remain dynamic as AIDPH continues to bring our Virtual Road Tour to states across the US, so please check back frequently to learn more about place-based solutions.

You can also visit www.vetdentaldata.org to view your state’s Veteran Oral Health Profile and learn more about veteran oral health and well-being within your local community.
