Community Advisory Board

AIDPH creates research, education, and advocacy with support from our Oral Health Community Advisory Board (CAB), a group of community members who use professional expertise, embodied knowledge, and lived experience to shape oral health outcomes and activities. Initiated through funding by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), the OHCAB is comprised of individuals who represent key AIDPH community areas of focus, including veterans, rural populations, people with disabilities, and the LGBTQIA+ community. They provide guidance based on lived, firsthand experiences that are difficult to fully appreciate through research output alone.
