Our Research Approach
In order to signal authentic investment and shared systems of power between AIDPH and our research partners, we rely on our community-engaged research model. This approach merges the knowledge, expertise, technical skill, and research capacity from AIDPH with the lived experience, established trust, and representation from the communities that receive a direct benefit. As a result, our community research partners co-design research strategies, co-own the data collected, develop publications, and receive support for creating community implementation.
