Understanding the Insecurity Epidemic

Rebuilding an inclusive and supportive public health infrastructure designed to meet the varying needs of the U.S. population is critical to our progress. In this plenary, Dr. Abdul El-Sayed will discuss America's "insecurity epidemic" and the health policies driving chronic disparity. Change driven by empathy policy is the only way forward. Dr. El-Sayed will share ideas to heal this epidemic of insecurity including implementing comprehensive public safety reform, Medicare for All, and access to an inclusive educational infrastructure.
