Marcia Ditmyer is Vice President of the Academy for Academic Leadership (AAL) in Atlanta. She is also Emerita Associate Professor for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, School of Dental Medicine. She has more than 30 years as a healthcare professional with more than a decade in higher education. She holds a Ph.D. in Public Health/ Research & Measurement, and is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist. She also holds a Master in Business Administration and Master of Science in Health Education.
Beatriz Tapia, MD, MPH
Beatriz Tapia, MD, MPH, is Assistant Professor for the Department of Family and Community Medicine and the Assistant Dean of Faculty Development at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, School of Medicine in Harlingen, Texas. She is the Director of the South Texas Environmental Education Research (STEER) Program. She attended the Autonomous University of Puebla in Mexico, where she received her M.D., and the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University (JHSPH), in Baltimore, Maryland, where she received her Master’s in Public Health. Her academic interests are environmental health, health disparities and health inequality.
Katrina Holt, MPH, MS, RD, FAND
Katrina Holt works at Georgetown University, McCourt School of Public Policy in Washington, DC. She is project director for the National Maternal and Child Oral Health Resource Center. In these capabilities, she works closely with Maternal and Child Health Bureau, the Office of Head Start, and other federal agencies, national professional associations, and other organizations, and experts in the field of oral health to develop educational resources for health professionals, program administrators, educators, policymakers, and families. Ms. Holt will coordinate the Federal Service Internship (FSI).
